Hi! My name is Jasmine and I'm an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor!

An Evidence Based Birth® Instructor is a birth professional specially trained in how to help families get evidence based care. I am one of around 150 Evidence Based Birth® Instructors around the world!

After the empowering home births of my two sons, I fell deeply in love with everything to do with birth and babies.

I completed the Birthing from Within, Wise Women Way, and the CAPPA doula trainings. I worked as a birth doula in Vancouver until moved to Bowen Island in 2013.

I was trained as a childbirth educator through the Childbearing Society Apprenticeship Program and have been teaching for them since 2007. I also completed Douglas College's excellent 40hr Breastfeeding for Birth Professionals Course.

I am honoured to be able to support families through their birth experiences as a breastfeeding counsellor and childbirth educator.
